Blogkla was honoured to attend the Kampala Pizza week launch this past Monday , March 21, 2021. The event was organized and sponsored by EatOutUganda, Coca cola and Glovo, a new food delivery app in Kampala.
During Kampala pizza week, patrons allover Kampala can visit the participating restaurants and enjoy "buy one get one free" pizza deals, hence 2 pizzas for the price of one.
The Italian ambassador who was the guest of honor flagged off the event and was a great sport by joining the pizza making competition that he eventually won.
The event that went well into the the night was well organized with lots of pizza going around and marked the official launch of Kampala Pizza week that starts from March 26 to April 4th.
